The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) licenses over one million professionals in approximately 100 different industries. Mr. Zimmerman has been honored as one of the "Top 40 Illinois Lawyers Under Age 40" for his effective legal counsel. He is qualified to defend professionals in licensure matters before the IDFPR through his extensive trial experience and work in two key areas.
He was appointed by the Governor of Illinois to the Illinois Courts Commission, overseeing disciplinary action involving judges. Mr. Zimmerman was also appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to the Review Board of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission to handle appeals of lawyers charged with professional misconduct.
